NRC's GDMS service provides accurate and timely inorganic mass spectrometric elemental analysis of solid samples in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited National Metrology Laboratory. This GDMS laboratory is accredited by the Standards Council of Canada for specific tests or calibrations.

The SSSC is the central shared-instrument facility at the University of Saskatchewan. The facility provides molecular structural characterization and analytical services for materials science, physical and life sciences. The SSSC has been funded by the CFI and grants from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council, Western Economic Diversification Canada and the provincial government.

The National Hydrology Research Centre hosts staff from the Water Science and Technology Directorate of Environment Canada and the Climate Research Division of the Atmospheric Science and Technology Directorate. This accredited laboratory provides conventional and nutrients analysis in support of EC research and monitoring studies, with a Geometrics/Geographic Information Systems lab, Computer modeling facility and a National EC Isotope research and analytical facility.
